The
All evil spirit is the yetzer ha ra, the evil urge, that is produced by
the body. It is what the
Hindi call the three gunas.
The soul,
a conglomerate of the present- and passed time personalities,
inhabits and “steers” the body like the vehicle it is, but is also
influenced by bodily urges like egoism, fears and last but not least, lust, that
are, obviously, necessary up to a point, to keep the species intact and concern material
matters, but they will keep you from higher, spiritual matters. It
is like an infection, a virus that creaps up on you.
The unprepared souls of the
nephilim, inhabiting; fallen into material
bodies, were very much subject to these urges.
