The people that walked in darkness
have seen a great light: ,
upon them hath the light shined…For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The
everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
We here on Earth, though seemingly alive are like buried in the dark of matter. They that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, is us. The dead are in death, we are inbetween life and death; we are here to make that choice. We literally are under judgment. Compared to the hereafter, we are all dead if we do not carry inner Light within us.
O LORD, … those who turn away from thee shall be written in the earth, for they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living water. Jer 17:13 RSV
The people who were
in the dark
saw a great light, and to those in the land of the shade of death did the dawn
come up.
To give
light to those in dark places, in the
shade of death, so that our feet may
be guided into the way of peace.
Who shall deliver me out of the
body of
this death.
Rom 7;24
You might even say that when we die (in faith), we experience a resurrection from death.
Truly, truly, I say to you, He who hears my word and believes him who sent me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. John 5:24 RSV
It's all part of the illusion; what we experience as life is in fact the brink of death; the shadow of death, and what we see as death is in fact a coming to life again; a resurrection.
