The first resurrection is the first group of people being transformed into perfect new creations. This is not something like, or a substitute for reincarnation, nor does it exclude reincarnation; it is the result of it. Second death however is when a soul dies. First the body dies, so that the soul may live, this is the first death. If the soul has no Spirit or not enough to keep it alive, it and all its works will burn up, approaching the source of Light, like moths in a flame. Second death is the end judging.
