THE NEPHILIM

The Hebrew word Nephilim is plural for Nephil; fallen one. The term applies to both the fallen angels; the Watchers and their offspring; the Anunaki, the giants, the tall heroes and man of fame that intended to become a new ruling race on Earth.

"The Hebrew word for giants (nephilum) literally means the fallen-down-ones because these tall celestial beings fell from the sky. Their half-breed progeny and their descendants are often mentioned in the early books of the Old Testament until the last of them were finally killed off. They were known as the Rephaim [Hebrew for 'phantoms'], Emim, Anakim, Horim, Avim, and Zamzummim. "The Nefilim ('Fallen Ones') bore many other tribal names, such as Emim ('Terrors'), Repha'im ('Weakeners'), Gibborim ('Giant Heroes'), Zamzummim ('Achievers'), Anakim ('Long-necked' or 'Wearers of Necklaces'), Awwim ('Devastators' or 'Serpents'). One of the Nefilim named Arba is said to have built the city of Hebron, called 'Kiriath-Arba' after him, and become the father of Anak whose three sons, Sheshai, Ahiman and Talmai, were later expelled by Joshua's comrade Caleb. "And there we saw the Nephilim, the sons of Anak, which come of the Nephilim: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight." - Numbers 13:33

"The Emim - a large and numerous people, as tall as the Anakim - had formerly inhabited it [Moab]. Like the Anakim, they are usually reckoned as Rephaim, though the Moabites call them Emim."

"Now only King Og of Bashan was left of the remnant of the Rephaim. In fact his bed, an iron bed, can still be seen in Rabbah of the Ammonites. By the common cubit [63.5 cm/25 in] it is nine cubits [5.7 m/18.75 ft] long and four cubits wide." - Deuteronomy 2:11, 3:11

Mostly though it applies to the fallen angels, that at least in some cases, looked like tall, pale, blond, probably blue eyed man (people); Aryans.

There came forth from heaven as it were the likeness of white men. 1Enoch 86;1

After a time, my son Mathusala took a wife for his son Lamech. She became pregnant by him, and brought forth a child, the flesh of which was as white as snow, and red as a rose; the hair of whose head was white like wool, and long; and whose eyes were beautiful. When he opened them, he illuminated all the house, like the sun; the whole house abounded with light. And when he was taken from the hand of the midwife, Lamech his father became afraid of him; and flying away came to his own father Mathusala, and said, I have begotten a son, unlike to other children. He is not human; but, resembling the offspring of the angels of heaven, is of a different nature from ours, being altogether unlike to us. His eyes are bright as the rays of the sun; his countenance glorious, and he looks not as if he belonged to me, but to the angels. 1Enoch 105;1

They might even have been astronauts that descended to earth on "Iron" thrones; the defeated ruling race of the cosmos, looking for a place to stay.

I (the Osiris king) ascend to the sky, I sit on this iron throne of mine.

May you (the Osiris king) remove yourself to the sky upon your iron throne.

You will ascend to the sky, you being seated upon your iron throne you have traversed the Winding Waterway in the north of the sky as a star, the Duat has grasped your hand at the place where Orion is.

Why not a "Golden Throne", or an Emerald one. Surely the Iron throne originated in eye witness accounts of iron-like vehicles with which gods ascended to, or descended from heaven, similar to the modern accounts of Aliens landing on Earth in UFOs.

because they have learnt all the secrets of the angels, all the violence of the satans, all their powers -the most secret ones-, all the power of those who practice sorcery, the power of witchcraft, and the power of those who make molten images. 1Enoch 65;6

Let assume these Nephilim knew all about the nature of their souls and, consequently, all about soul migration, where souls, after death of their bodies, move on to other suitable bodies. It would lie in their line of thoughts that, since they made their Home here on Earth, they would make sure that there were enough suitable bodies at hand here on Earth to move in to.

The sons of God (Elohim, the gods) saw that the daughters of men were fair; and they took wives for themselves from those who were pleasing to them. Ge 6:2

These bodies preferably and consequently would be found in old, rich and powerful families, passing on their Genes into the future, in some cases dating back to ancient god-kings or to Nagas; resulting in long ancient King lists. It would explain the baked in urge of these "blue blooded" families to guard their bloodlines by marrying into "good" families.
