Also; There's not some single Dark Overlord called Satan, some geek sneaking around with a red cape and a pitchfork, deep set eyes darking with evil brilliance, that we can comfortably blame for all the wrongs in this world. It's all of us put together. All intelligent entities put together, driven by instinct or animal urges, hate, greed or jealousy make up Satan. He isn't called LEGION for nothing. But Satan is no Archetype either; every living being is made up of living cells; living entities that collectively form a larger entity. In the heavens the angels, or call them enlightened souls, form clusters, clustering together around the Light we call God. That's why it is said that there is only one God, namely the Creator, the Father. And all the rest is choosing sides. Great or small, light or dark; they go where they feel at home. Examples of such clusters are the council of the LORD (Jer. 23;18), council of the Holy Ones (Ps. 89;7), the council of the gods; the sons of God (Job 1;6) or the choirs of angels. Demons too are known to form clusters, clans or Legions and they will speak with one voice. Satan is like the group consciousness of living entities making up a cluster of souls (corporeal or incorporeal) that, dependent on awareness and wickedness, all are driven by the Yetzer ha Ra; their animal instinct or lower urges; the All Evil spirit, motivating them to commit sins.

It is no different here on earth. If individuals commit crimes, the Law will put them behind bars. This even goes for relatively small groups of people. But when such a group has grown out of proportions, say for instance, when almost everybody, at the advise of the government telling us the sky is the limit, is buying houses they can't really afford, and Bank Corporations, knowingly supply them the loans, and Bank managers, receiving bonuses that are way out of proportions and on top of that, enormous amounts of money are embezzled by people at he top, things can get so bad that Laws will be bent and enormous amounts of money are injected in these companies  in order to keep the ships from drowning. Even whole countries are getting into deep trouble because of this and have to be saved by neighboring countries, because they're all chained to each other with commercial ties and if one ship  is going down the rest will follow. As usual the little people will have to cough up all the money while the rich upper-class, of whom many are responsible for the crisis, are left alone. As soon as a leader in desperation proposes a referendum so that the people might have a say in it, he is fired.  Politics will yield to this group of people, read VOTERS and financiers, that have acted out of pride, greed or the lust for money in general, and these people as a group are now controlling the Nation and the rest eventually will have to pay up. There will be rules to dam in the bonuses, but they'll just invent other names for it. In fact, not even that. They triple the bonuses or even quadruple them, our leaders of society, our "roll models".

But if you go looking for some evil black hooded dark overlords running the show behind the scenes, you're quest will be in vain. You won't find any. The thing is that CEOs and the members of the board of directors of the big corporations are normal looking but very smart people (mostly), running the business in the cold indifferent calculating way they learned at school, all for the greater good of the company. They're in the business of making money for the company no matter what the consequences may be for the competition or for people that get in the way or for the environment or whatever. They want to make money for the firm, - and for themselves of course. Otherwise they wouldn't be sitting there. As soon as things are going bad people are being fired or the whole factory is picked up and dropped in some third world country. But what is a Firm exactly?  Is it the profits that are being made or is it the people that each day invest their energy in it?  And the beat goes on; the greed goes on as usual. And this exactly, while it should be the strength, is also the flaw of democracy. When the majority turns bad, the whole nation goes down with it and we owe it all to ourselves.

The needy and the greedy.

The rich are getting even richer and the poor even poorer.

The most used argument in favour of exorbitantly high salaries and even higher bonuses is that quality has its price and if you don't pay them what they want they would move to other companies or to other nations even. This is true of course, but only to a certain level. It is by no means a law of Medes and Persians that a greedy grabber at the top mainly looking out for number One and making ten or even twenty times as much money as a guy who hasn't reached that top yet is in fact ten or twenty times better in his job than the other guy. But it is though a law of supply and demand that if you'd let them go, that market would be flooded instantly with the result that the height of these salaries would soon be corrected. How many vacancies can there be at the top of other companies nationwide or abroad? I say; let them go and let's see if we care.

I don't know if you've noticed it, but politicians will never admit their wrong on TV debates or press through unpopular measures with elections ahead. As soon as the elections are in sight, they suddenly start fighting and arguing and no one will give an inch. Not even when they know they are dead-wrong, because they feel they represent the party's ideology (or actually; the interest of certain members or lobbies) and they feel they are chosen and paid to do so. This also goes for lawyers by the way. So quite often they are lying through their teeth and instead of letting experts decide on what's the best thing to do, the best lobbyist wins, whether it's a good idea or not. So much for Democracy. Only recently, former CIA chief John Stockwell (Click on picture) opened a book about agents of the CIA, instigating wars all over the world, manipulating groups of people in third world countries into rebellion, installing their own marionettes as presidents in these countries so they can do what ever they want, setting up their own drug-lines etc. etc., committing crimes beyond belief, all for the greater good of America.

Thus creating a sort of worldwide secret government, that placed itself above the Law due to a vague authority given to the CIA by the National security Law to protect its sources and methods. These are not archetypal forces; these are real groups of real people that are at work here on Earth. God had nothing to do with it, but don't say He didn't warn us.

Next to the lower self there is a higher Self. The Lower self is the animal soul, the life-force belonging and connected to the natural body, like dogs or cats have/are souls; they are living beings. Most animals are not dumb or stupid (no more than us I suppose); some of them are capable of reasoning, but the difference is, that in our case this animal body is like a suitable vehicle to an inhabiting soul; the reincarnating soul that is the sum of your past lives and is connected in more or lesser degree to the Light; the Spirit of God which in its turn is keeping it alive. It would be tempting to say that that your reincarnating soul is "You", but by inhabiting this animal body and by merging with it, the inhabiting soul is obviously being influenced by it. Reincarnation, or Judgement as it is called in the Bible, is about adding new experiences to old ones until you "get it right". What "You" are is the sum of it all; your personality, your Ego is who you are at this moment, in this life, living in this body, subconsciously being influenced by your past life experiences (Karma) and sometimes all too consciously being influenced by the lower urges of this body and the temptations of this world in general that will leave you wanting for more and more in the end.

These lower urges, Gunas or Yetzer ha Ra are inherent to the body, our lower self and the animal soul in general and as an entity it is called; Satan (adversary) or Mastema (enemy). Opposite to the Yetzer ha Ra there is the Yetzer ha Tov; the urge to do good. You might say that everyone who has an urge to do evil is driven by Satan, and everyone who has an urge to do good, is guided by the Spirit of God.

These impulses are inherent to our physical state; the bodies we live in.

 They rule our natural, lower selves; our animal souls.

All these animal souls put together, and in particular the "intelligent" ones,

form a cluster, or a Legion of earthbound souls.

This entity can speak in one voice; the sound of a gazillion souls speaking in unison.

And all these individual souls are his demons with their leaders and subordinates.

Hell also is a group of souls.

In fact, Satan and Hell are the same thing.
