The Solar disk and the Moon disk look the same size; that's why when the moon covers the sun it only leaves its corona. 

Without the Moon there would be different tides of Earth, darker nights, and very different life forms. Fish migrate by moonlight, animals mate according to lunar cycles.

There are 3 theories about the origin of the Moon.

(1) A chunk of the Earth became disconnected and thus created the Moon, but the Moon appears to be older than the Earth. The oldest age for the Earth is estimated to be 4.6 billion years old; moon rocks were dated at 5.3 billion years old, and the dust upon which they were resting was at least another billion years older.

(2), the Moon was created by left-over dust particles in space, but the chemical composition of Lunar rocks contradicts both this and the former theory.

(3)The Moon was somehow captured in the gravitational pull of the Earth, but there is not enough evidence to support this 3d theory either. In fact the Moon's origin is a complete mystery. Isaac Asimov once stated, "It’s too big to have been captured by the Earth. The chances of such a capture having been effected and the moon then having taken up nearly circular orbit around our Earth are too small to make such an eventuality credible."

Lunar instruments have detected a water vapor cloud, kinda like fog, which covered a 100 square mile area on the Moon and lasted for about 14 hours.

Some of the moon’s craters originated internally, yet there are no volcanoes on the Moon. Sometimes red glowing lights appear on the surface of the Moon, that are thought to be caused by Moonquakes, but no one really knows for sure what they are. Lights have been observed on the Moon since before Plato. According to NASA more than 570 unexplainable accounts of lights and flashes have been recorded between 1540 and 1967. In November, 1958, Soviet astronomer Nikolay A. Kozyrev of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory photographed a gaseous eruption of the moon near the crater Alphonsus. He also detected a reddish glow that lasted for about an hour. In 1963, astronomers at the Lowell Observatory also saw reddish glows on the crests of ridges in the Aristarchus region. These observations have proved to be precisely identical and periodical, repeating themselves as the moon moves closer to the Earth. These are probably not natural phenomena.

The Moon's composition is actually quite strange. Normally when a planet is formed, the heavier elements are in the core and the lighter elements are on the surface. however, the moon is the exact opposite. The lighter elements are in the core and the heavier elements, like Titanium and other metals make up the surface of the moon. This is why the moon's crust is a lot harder then first expected. The maria is composed primarily illeminite, which is why such extreme difficulty was encountered by the astronauts when they tried to drill into the maria? Helium3, Uranium 236, Neptunium 237 and rustproof iron particles are also found on the Moon's surface but are not found on Earth. Not in these quantities they aren't. The abundance of refractory elements like Titanium in the surface areas is so pronounced that several geologists proposed the refractory compounds were brought to the moon’s surface in great quantity in some unknown way. They don’t know how, but that it was done cannot be questioned.

There is not enough gravity on the Moon for its size, and because of that some scientist have theorized that the Moon may be hollow. The moon’s mean density is 3.34 gm/cm3 (3.34 times an equal volume of water) whereas the Earth’s is 5.5. What does this mean? In 1962, NASA scientist Dr. Gordon MacDonald stated, "If the astronomical data are reduced, it is found that the data require that the interior of the moon is more like a hollow than a homogeneous sphere." Nobel chemist Dr. Harold Urey suggested the moon’s reduced density is because of large areas inside the moon where is "simply a cavity." MIT’s Dr. Sean C. Solomon wrote, "the Lunar Orbiter experiments vastly improved our knowledge of the moon’s gravitational field . . . indicating the frightening possibility that the moon might be hollow." In Carl Sagan’s treatise, Intelligent Life in the Universe, the famous astronomer stated, "A natural satellite cannot be a hollow object." On November 20, 1969, the Apollo 12 crew jettisoned the lunar module ascent stage causing it to crash onto the moon. The LM’s impact (about 40 miles from the Apollo 12 landing site) created an artificial moonquake with startling characteristics—the moon reverberated like a bell for more than an hour. This phenomenon was repeated with Apollo 13 (intentionally commanding the third stage to impact the moon), with even more startling results. Seismic instruments recorded that the reverberations lasted for three hours and twenty minutes and traveled to a depth of twenty-five miles, leading to the conclusion that the moon has an unusually light—or even no—core.

While the Moon rotates around the Earth, the Earth's axis always points to the same region in space we call north. (Polar Star) Our Moon is the only moon in our Solar system to have a near perfect circular orbit. The same side of the Moon always faces the Earth making it look motionless. The Moon used to rotate much faster, but has been slowing down exactly to the point that, while moving around the Earth, one side is always facing the Earth. At least, that's what they taught us at school. Only recently scientist have concluded that, no, it's not that, it has to do with gravitational forces pulling the pointed end of the egg shaped moon towards the earth. Or so they say. Must be pretty unstable though, an egg shaped moon, turning around it's axe. Why doesn't it wobble? Oh, it does wobble? A little bit. So it's turning and wobbling at the same time and it still keeps facing the Earth? ...?!?... Well, that's a need trick. ... But if it's so natural, why don't all other moons behave the same? They've been there just as long, if not longer.

The Moon is bigger than it should be, apparently older than it should be, and much lighter in mass than it should be, is a giant satellite in comparison with other planetary satellites and occupies an unlikely orbit while always facing the earth with the same side. When struck by objects it sound like a giant gong for at least 30 minutes. The Moon is more like a hollow then a homogeneous sphere. When a launch vehicle struck the Moon with the equivalent of eleven tonnes of TNT, NASA scientists said the Moon reacted like a gong and continued to vibrate for three hours and twenty minutes to a depth of up to 25 miles and wobbled in such a precise way that it was almost as though it had gigantic hydraulic damper struts inside it and probably is a gigantic spaceship left in orbit by a very high intelligence as sort of a Noah's ark, perhaps even as the home of a whole civilization. No Core, water vapour clouds, red glowing lights, unnatural orbit, unnatural concentration of heavy metals, peculiar dimensions. All these facts sooner point to an artficially constructed Moon than a natural origin. As outrageous as the Moon-Is-a-Spaceship Theory is, all of the above items are resolved if one assumes that the moon is a gigantic extraterrestrial craft, brought here eons ago by intelligent beings. This is the only theory that is supported by all of the data, and there are no data that contradict this theory.

Greek authors Aristotle and Plutarch, and Roman authors Apolllonius Rhodius and Ovid all wrote of a group of people called the Proselenes who lived in the central mountainous area of Greece called Arcadia. In antiquity the Arcadians were often called "proselenoi"- those who preceded the moon. Ovid calls them "older than Jupiter (Zeus) and the moon". Mythology places the birth of Zeus, and possibly Selene in Arcadia.  Pan ruled in Arcadia, guarding flocks and herds and hunting - he provided Artemis with her hounds. His temples were all in natural sanctuaries, usually caves.The Proselenes claimed title to this area because their forebears were there "before there was a moon in the heavens." This claim is substantiated by symbols on the wall of the Courtyard of Kalasasaya, near the city of Tiahuanaco, Bolivia, which record that the moon came into orbit around the Earth between 11,500 and 13, 000 years ago, long before recorded history.

1. Ages of Flashes: Aristarchus, Plato, Eratosthenes, Biela, Rabbi Levi, and Posidonius all reported anomalous lights on the moon. NASA, one year before the first lunar landing, reported 570+ lights and flashes were observed on the moon from 1540 to 1967.
2. Operation Moon Blink: NASA’s Operation Moon Blink detected 28 lunar events in a relatively short period of time.
3. Lunar Bridge: On July 29, 1953, John J. O’Neill observed a 12-mile-long bridge straddling the crater Mare Crisium. In August, British astronomer Dr. H.P. Wilkens verified its presence, "It looks artificial. It’s almost incredible that such a thing could have been formed in the first instance, or if it was formed, could have lasted during the ages in which the moon has been in existence.
4. The Shard: The Shard, an obelisk-shaped object that towers 1½ miles from the Ukert area of the moon’s surface, was discovered by Orbiter 3 in 1968. Dr. Bruce Cornet, who studied the amazing photographs, stated, "No known natural process can explain such a structure."
5. The Tower: One of the most curious features ever photographed on the Lunar surface (Lunar Orbiter photograph III-84M) is an amazing spire that rises more than 5 miles from the Sinus Medii region of the lunar surface.
6. The Obelisks: Lunar Orbiter II took several photographs in November 1966 that showed several obelisks, one of which was more than 150 feet tall. ". . . the spires were arranged in precisely the same was as the apices of the three great pyramids."

The Moon, if indeed artificially made, may very well have been the spacecraft that carried the "gods" to our Earth. Old names like Pan, Zeus, the Asuras and Aesir, Azazel (Az-azal) and Shemiaza with their leader Satanail still remind of them. They were the guardians, Anunnaki, the Watchers of the Earth, angels that defeated the original inhabitants of the Earth, the reptilian race, a.k.a. Samael. They may be the ones that genetically manipulated a primitive ape-like race and created modern Man in enormous caves inside the Earth. Later however, they descended from the Moon to Earth to marry the Daughters of Man - or mix their genes with man's predecessor. An event that much later was followed by the Great Flood and the destruction of their offspring the Nephilim.

 

All this sure makes me wonder what's on the far side of the Moon.
