This page is about the similarity in names of Yeshua (Jesus), Ishua (Krishna), Christ , Krista (Krishna), Issa (Jesus), and Ish (Adam).

And in that day, says Yahwèh, you will call me; Ishi Ho 2;16

Revelations was written in Greek and the Omega was the last letter of the Greek alphabet.

The word Ish means "Man", "Male" or "husband" and is mentioned in the Old Testament;

And the man (Adam) said, This is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh: let her name be Woman (Ashah) because she was taken out of Man (Ish). Ge 2:23

It also refers to a group of humanlike angels; the Ishim, and for the angel who fought with Jacob.

And Jacob is left alone, and one (Ish) wrestleth with him till the ascending of the dawn;

... And he saith, `Thy name is no more called Jacob, but Israel;

for thou hast been a prince with God and with men, and dost prevail.' ...
And Jacob calleth the name of the place Peniel:

for `I have seen God (Elohim) face unto face, and my life is delivered;'

Gen 32:24 YLT

.

...which could be an explanation of the name Israel; Is-sar(i)el; Man-Prince of God

More important, God refers to Himself as Ish;

 And it shall be at that day, saith the LORD, "that thou shalt call Me `Ishi' that is, My husband, and shalt call Me no more `Baali' that is, My Lord. Ho 2:16 KJ21

...which actually is a remark directed to the chosen group of human souls regarded by the Spirit as his bride, in the same manner that Eve (the soul) was the bride of Adam (Atma).

.

Ishi sounds a bit like a sneeze, and being a name of God, it would be uttered in vain while sneezing. Thou shalt not idly utter the name of the Lord your God. Ex 20:7 This is why, according to ancient custom, people witnessing a sneeze would say "...bless you" in order to sort of finish the sentence in an appropriate way.

Ishi (c. 1860 – March 25, 1916) also was how the last member of the Yahi, the last surviving group of the Yana people of California called himself.  Ishi means man in the Yahi dialect of the Yana.

The name for supreme Lord in Sanscrit is Ishuara or Ishua.

It was Krishna who was called Ishuara (or Ishua) in the Bhagavad-Gita....

.

.

.

.     BHAGAVAD-GITA

One who knows Me as Aya (unborn), the beginningless Supreme Lord (Ishuara) of the universe, is considered wise among the mortals, and gets liberation from the bondage of Karma. B.G.10.03

(Ishwar or Ishwara; Lord is often pronounced Ishua.)

Arjuna said: You are the Supreme Brahma, the supreme abode, the supreme purifier, the eternal divine spirit, the supreme God Aya the omnipresent. B.G.10.12

It is in the Bhagavad-Gita that Krishna utters "I am" words.

 I am the supporter of the universe,the father, the mother, and the grandfather. B.G.9.17

 I am the Atma abiding in the heart of all beings. I am Vishnu among the sons of Aditi.  I am Indra among the Devas; I am Shiva among the Rudras. B.G.10.20

 I am the origin or seed of all beings. There is nothing, animate or inanimate, that can exist without Me. B.G.10.39

 Know Me to be the eternal seed of all creatures.  I am the intelligence of the intelligent, and the brilliance of the brilliant. B.G.7.10

I am the beginning, the middle, and the end of the creation, O Arjuna.  Among the knowledge I am knowledge of the supreme Self. I am logic of the logician. B.G.10.32

 I am the letter "A" among the alphabets among the compound words I am the dual compound.  I am the endless time, I am the sustainer of all and the four faced Brahma. B.G.10.33

Whenever there is a decline of Dharma and the rise of Adharma, oh Arjuna, then I manifest Myself.  I incarnate from time to time for protecting the good, for transforming the wicked, and for establishing Dharma, the world order. B.G.4.07

These "I am" words show great similarity with the "I am" words spoken by Jesus;

I am the alpha and the omega,

the beginning and the end,

the first and the last.

Rev 22;13

 I and my Father are one.

John10: 30

I am the light

that is over them all.

I am the All;

the All has come forth from me,

and the All has attained unto me.

Cleave a (piece of) wood: I am there.

Raise up the stone, and ye shall find me there.

Thomas gospel; the light 77.

and with "I am" words in the Egyptian Book of the dead".

"I am the god Atum, (Atma) I who was alone,

"I am the god Ra at his first appearing, (in Nun; like Anu in Nammu.)

"I am the great god who created himself, and created his name; I, Lord of the gods, who has not his equal.'

"I was yesterday, and I know the tomorrow. The battlefield of the gods was made when I spoke.

Egyptian Book of the dead

Egyptian mythology again had its roots in Sumer.

Enki, the king of the Abzu (Portal of Wisdom; in the center of the waters; the realm of Light), justly praises himself in his majesty:

I am the firstborn of AN I am the first among all rulers,...

I am the big brother of the gods,...

I am the leader of the Anuna gods.

I was born as the firstborn son of holy AN." (literally; Holy Spirit)

 Krishna is called Krista by his devotees, or Ishua.  Yeshua; Jesus is called Christ by his disciples.

.

.

Jesus and Krishna had very similar life experiences.

.

This is also said of the Egyptian god Horus (Harseisis) sometimes, but that is not true.  Horus the Elder on the other hand, ....

but that's a different story.

Jesus is mentioned several times in the Koran, where he is called Issa. (Blessed be He)

 QURAN

 The same religion has He established for you as that which He enjoined on Noah--the which We have sent by inspiration to thee--and that which We enjoined on Abraham, Moses, and Issa (Jesus).  Sura 42:13 (ash Shura)

.

We have sent thee inspiration, as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him: We sent inspiration to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, to Issa, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon,

and to David We gave the Psalms. Sura 4:163  Section 23.  (an Nissa)

.

. . .Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye dispute. Su 3:55  Section 6. (el Imran)

.When Jesus found unbelief on their part He said: "Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah?" Said the Disciples: "We are Allah's helpers: We believe in Allah and do thou bear witness that we are Muslims." "Our Lord! We believe in what Thou hast revealed, and we follow the Apostle; then write us down among those who bear witness."  Sura 3;52 (el Imran)

  And (remember) her who guarded her chastity: (Mary)  We breathed into her of Our Spirit, and We made her and her son (Jesus) a Sign for all peoplesSura 21:91 (el Anbiya)

The same Spirit that spoke through Krishna, Atum and Enki and others was speaking through Jesus.

God has sent messengers before, and not only to the Jews, but to nations all over the world, be it as prophets, Watchers , Holy Ones, Angels living among men and Avatars, but the majority of man wouldn't hear of them.

"You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit! Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him— you who have received the law that was given through angels but have not obeyed it."  Acts 7:51

Some angels known as Watchers even fell victim themselves to the Yetzer ha Ra of Satan and became his followers.

So as a final act of rescue, God sent his greatest Archangel; his foremost Son to be born as Jesus in order to spread the Word and even give his physical life as a ransom for our salvation. As "Captain of the ship", Jesus took responsibility for the actions of "his crew"; his followers and, underwent physical death penalty at the cross for their transgressions and it is for this reason that Jesus, or; Issa, Ishua, or Yeshua, which means; the Lord saves, has become known as the the Messiah; the Christ.

Salvation is found in no one else,

for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4;12

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Tim 2;5

...for all nations.

Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised,

barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. Col 3;11

All Messiahs of all nations will be united in Christ at his return.

Jesus' name carries in it the symbols for the living, the dead, life and Holy Spirit.

Lord of both the dead and the living. Romans 14:9

Jesus is lord of all. acts10;36

Satan;

Satan is lacking Holy Spirit.

(the little dot is a vocalization mark.)
Satan is lord over his lot of living and dead and over you, if you let him, but he has no say over your spirit and, if you have it, it's your spirit; which is the Spirit of God, that is Lord over your soul.
