“I am” in Aramaic, the language Jesus spoke, is; Ani.
In "Enki and the world" order Enki calls out;
I was born as the firstborn son of holy AN.
Ani was also used in the phrase; I am the Lord, ani Yahwèh,
used 200 times when God spoke, in the Old testament.
In Mesopotamia, the Habiru called their mighty one "Il-ani", derived from Il-Anu; the high one Anu.
An, or Anu, as you may know, was the Sumerian/Acadian name for the Holy Spirit.
The Habiru were the ancestors of the Hebrews.
In modern Hebrew, the word Ani means "me" or "I".
Etymologically it may literally mean my power/my spirit, or my soul; me.
Ani refers to the Spirit; in the same way as the other expressions for “I am”; Anoki
and Ahya refer to Enki
See ye, now, that I (ani) I am He, and there is no god besides Me: I put to
death, and I keep alive.
De 32:39
actually says;
I “Anu” am he, And there is no god besides Me:
I put to death, and I keep alive
I, I have spoken.
Isa 48:15 Also; Ho 5:14
actually says;
I “Anu” have spoken.
Other
examples like this, where Sumerian gods appear in the Bible are;
“I (anoki), I am your comforter “
Isaiah
51;12
actually says;
I “Enki” am your comforter
I, I am the one Lord and besides me there is no messiah.
Isa
43;11
actually says;
I “Enki” am the One Lord and besides me there
is no messiah.
And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,
I AM (ahya) hath sent me unto you.
Ex 3:14
actually says;
And God said to Moses, I am “Ahya”;
and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children
of Israel,
“Ahya” hath sent me unto you.
(Ea; Enki)
These
three words in Hebrew language all mean "I am", but it cannot be
coincidence that these also are the names of the Sumero/Assyrian upper gods An/Anu, and Enki/Ea...
