God has many different names in many different tongues. The Hindu name Brahma is just one of them. The Hindi say, that Brahma is the creational aspect of God. The name Indicates God in his creational mode, so to speak. Brahman, his spirit, or energy, radiating from him, was his first manifestation in this dimension. In other words; his Spirit is the pure creational energy that was released during the Big Bang. The word ends with -an- which indicates a force, or a spirit. This suffix was introduced only to distinguish the creative spirit from the source, while of course there is no real difference. Brahm-an would be the spirit of Brahm. By the Hindi, Brahm is explained with “Bra-Aham”, the self expanding. The name however had its origin in Vedas like the Brahmaveda, that were brought to India by Aryan invaders coming from ancient Persia but having their origin in the same area where Abraham came from; Chaldea, otherwise known as Babel, Sumer or Mesopotamia. In Semitic languages the name Brahma would mean exalted Father; Ab rama, or Father above. In other words; God. Brahma, the Hindi say, is to be found in every center sun of every galaxy, and in every sun of every solar system and indeed in every atom and there are many, many, many Brahma’s all part of the One. He is the core of everything and can be found in the core of every single item all leading back to the One. Spirit is an other word for energy. God is Spirit (John 4;24). His Spirit is Brahman, the Light, or creational energy in which everything has its origin. Everything is energy, everything is spirit. You are "in God" whether you like it or not. Later on, distinction was made between the source, the creational force and the dissolving or even destructive force. Shiva, a continuation of Indra and Varuna, became known as the destructive force. Vishnu, originally a demigod, became the source of the Spirit and was elevated to God himself, reducing Brahma to a humble demigod. The creational "aspect" of God however, deals with God as Creator, and originally it is Brahm, or Brahma who is called the Father and even the Grandfather of the gods.

The image above is a representation of how people of various philosophical backgrounds in the past used to picture creation. The only difference is that their ideas were pictured in a two dimensional concept (a flat square) instead of a three dimensional  one (a ball). Artists always used to picture God above his Creation, at the top of the page and the earth and the underworld below, at the bottom of the page, while in fact, if you follow scriptures to the letter, God should be pictured in the middle of it, which actually amounts to the same. (see below)

He, desiring to produce beings of many kinds from his own body,

first with a thought created the waters and placed his seed in them.

That (seed) became a golden egg, in brilliancy equal to the sun;

in that (egg) he himself was born as Brahma,

the first Father of all living beings.

God is in the core of everything, from the tiny "solar system" of an atom; (its nucleus), to within every living being; (the Self). From the center of the Earth to the center of our solar system; our sun. And from the center of our Galaxy; the core of our Milky Way to the center of our Universe; as the Source of all energy; all Spirit released at the Big Bang. As God is in the core of everything; He is everything, He is also seated in the middle of the gigantic ball we call our Universe, or as Manu would say; the Egg of Brahma. In fact, His presence may even be concentrated there.

We were always taught that this creation took place as a giant explosion of light (the Big Bang) that took on the shape of a giant sphere (More or less). Many scientifically minded people will say; No it wasn't an explosion, it was more like an expansion of space-time. Sure, OK, expansion is a better word for it. It is the word the Bible uses for it (Gen 1;6; also called firmament). Space-time expanded into a very large sphere, swimming in an ocean of nothingness. Much like the Egg of Brahma indeed. In time this energy formed particles that clustered together to form a denser kind of energy, or spirit that is known as Hylè, primary matter, or a soup of particles that froze from the void, to quote Einstein, the waters above, to quote the bible, or soul-“water”; Purusha to quote the Bhagavad-Gita.   

Gradually, these particles formed clouds of gas from which the galaxies, suns, planets, but above all; life emerged. Matter was being formed. It is this matter that forms the shell of the egg. Modern science is well aware that matter is in fact "frozen, curdled" energy.  Max Planck, the father of quantum mechanics ones stated that matter as such does not exist.

The states of aggregation we know; solid, liquid, gas and plasma, (Ionized atoms, as in Lightning, the heavenly fire, that strikes the earth about 6000 times a minute. A lightning bolt generates temperatures five times hotter than those found at the sun's surface!) have replaced the ancient elements;  Earth, water, air and fire.

Because water has several of these appearances; ice (snow from under the throne), water (waters above, dew of the spirit), vapor (mist of chaos) and steam, the mystics used water as an example to explain things. Next to the four elements there exists a fifth element which is the ether, or purusha, or soul. Above the soul one could say exists a sixth element, the spirit and the seventh would be God himself, the source of it all.

If we want to know the differences between science and religion,

we first have to know what they say.

So let's match some ancient texts

with the Big Bang theory

and Quantum Physics...

It is said that ours is a uniformly expanding universe, with galaxies moving away from each other like raisins in a rising loaf of raisin bread. The most logical shape for a uniformly expanding universe would have to be a sphere, because, if it wasn't a spherical shape, it wouldn't be a uniformly expanding Universe. Right? A spherical shape would be plausible because the "flat" spiral Galaxies also have an Egg shaped area of Dark Matter; nonluminous nonreflecting clouds of dust and gas and what is called Dark Energy around them. This Dark energy is only called dark because we cannot see it with our human eyes or current equipment and may in fact be a lot brighter than we can imagine.

Even if this is a NOT so uniformly expanding Universe, that is to say; if this theory is "not entirely accurate", and new theories are arising as we speak, the chances of an open "empty" center, created by centrifugal forces, are growing by the minute. That is unless you want to picture this rising-loaf-of-raisin-bread universe with very tiny galaxies right at the center of it with very tiny planets with very tiny people living on them. (I know, it's crazy.) Because there wouldn't be room enough for bigger galaxies there. Not to mention the time it takes for a Galaxy to evolve. The universe has a shape and is expanding around a point of origin. So, no matter how you turn it, deep within the universe must be that point of origin; the center of the universe. Applying the latest theories it took at least half a Billion years for the first Galaxies to form. That is half a Billion years of traveling time from the center. In every direction. Starting out with (much more than) the speed of light. Should this center be spherical, we are talking about an "empty" spherical area with a diameter of at least a Billion times the traveling-speed of the material objects in it. Plus it has been expanding along with the Universe for the past 14 Billion years or so. Plus, the further galaxies have drifted from the center of the Universe, the faster they go, thanks to the centrifugal effect of this Dark Energy (or is it an individual repelling force, a bit like static electric charge in objects you cannot keep together) overcoming gravity.

The Universe looks like a flattened ball or maybe a bit of an egg shape. Of course you wouldn't be able to look at it from the outside, because its light wouldn't have reached you yet; in fact space itself wouldn't have reached you yet; the picture would be black, but it is an egg shape all the same. Or maybe a football or a UFO shape. However, according to some theories, entire universe-bubbles may coexist next to ours, which at least suggests the possibility to be outside this universe, if not in other dimensions, or heavens if you will. The only thing that would keep us from going there is the speed limit. You wouldn't be able to get there, because, they've always taught us that it is impossible to exceed the speed of light. But now it turns out that it is possible after all. Some scientists already were theorizing about faster than light particles called Tachyons. Steven Hawking himself says that by the time the Cosmos was ten minutes old, it was already thousands of light years in diameter. And then of course there is the Hyper-inflation theory that claims that the universe itself expanded to the better part of its size in a trillionth of a trillionth of a second, which of course is way, and I mean WAY faster than the speed of light. "Yeah, but that was before time even existed and the laws of physics didn't apply". But that doesn't matter really, does it? One moment the universe doesn't exist and the next moment it's there, be it an expanding one.

It is indeed as if some God in His heaven uttered a Word and as He spoke, it became Reality.

which is how our ancestors would describe it.

Our Universe turns out to be an ideal place for life to evolve. For every constant factor of physics goes that the values may not differ to much (at all) since otherwise stars, planets and life it self would not have been able to evolve.

If the Gravity constancy had been just a little lower, planets, stars and clusters would not have been formed because particles wouldn't have had time to cluster and would have faded into space. If the gravity constancy had been just a little higher, stars would have collapsed into black holes and in either way, life would have been impossible.

Gravity, they always taught us is what keeps everything together. It is caused by matter; the planets, the stars and star-cluster and such, but it is known for over 80 years now that there aren't nearly enough stars and planets in this Cosmos to be accountable for this to happen. Fritz Zwicky as far back as the thirties already knew that all the stars and planets put together in the Coma cluster he was studying, could never account for the gravitational pull they were supposed to deliver. And they still don't know what causes it, so either there has to be some undetected matter between the stars, they would call "Dark Matter" or Newton and Einstein go right out the window. Their laws that is. Even if you add this Dark Matter you come up short 70%. Well what than? Dark Energy maybe? They're still in the dark about that. Fact is though that there has to be some other force accountable for regulating the expansion of the universe exactly enough for us to exist at all.

Organic molecules are our main ingredient. Carbon atoms are formed inside the sun, but only when they have a certain level of energy that would be influential to the output of its fusion reactions (Fred Hoyle). Protons are 1831 times heavier than electrons. Nobody knows why, because there is no law to determine that, but if the mass ratio had been just a little different, no stable atoms would have been formed, or at least not in this diversity. No atoms; no molecules; no life, no nothing. No physical life anyway.

So life is only possible in a universe in which the constant factors of physics have particular values. Ours is a very fine tuned universe indeed.

Considering the necessity of the constant factors of physics to be exact for life to evolve, there is only room for one universe. The all including theory of physics behind it, explaining the values of the constants of physics would be the yet to produce "THEORY OF EVERYTHING". 

It has every appearance of it that this theory of everything is going to point at God as creator of the universe. Be it reluctantly. Stars are like giant factories. The sun produces the energy we need to live and the very same process that causes the stars to shine also happens to make materials like oxygen, carbon and iron, vital building blocks for life as we know it. This of course has nothing to do with a lack of order; irregularity, imperfection and plain luck as is often claimed, but more with cause and effect. With all due respect, Mr. Hawking, but expressions like "a long and remarkable run of good luck", "chance" and "accidents" as a scientific explanation of our existence in this universe seem a bit thin for a scientist of your repute. Or maybe you too are just fishing in the dark. Without a lantern that is. With all these atoms moving around in space, if you give it enough time it could happen just by chance it might. Or so they say. If you wait long enough for all the oxygen molecules to be on the far side of the room it might just happen someday. Really? Would billiard balls scattered across the table suddenly go back to the racked formation they had in the beginning after hitting them with the cue ball? It would need a pretty big fluctuation in time-space to allow the universe to happen by chance and it has been mathematically proven by Sir Arthur Eddington that the bigger the fluctuation has to be, the smaller the chance is it's going to happen. Just like in the oxygen room, there might be a very small spot where there's no oxygen molecules for a brief moment, but the chance that all the oxygen molecules are going to be on the far side of the room is zero. So that 's not an option here. Although the terms cause and effect are typical scientific terms, scientists avoid using them in terms of creation because they point to a law, or (the horror) even a dominant willpower behind it all, which might indicate the existence of a God. So, to avoid God in all of this, the Multiverse, the Multi-universe was invented, in which ALL possibilities were available and ours, obviously, would be the one that won, the one we're in. "See, matter has positive energy and gravity has negative energy, so you can make a universe for nothing. You could even make an infinite number of universes." Well I'd like to see you try. But let's say you would succeed. Wouldn't that mean that these universes had a creator? "But there was no pre-existing time. God must have existed before the Big Bang, but there was no -Before the Big Bang-." Well, maybe not in this universe, but if you suggest that one universe after another has been "popping into existence, you simply cannot rule out time, can you? Or space for that matter if you want them to bump in to each other. It would mean that there is time and space outside and apart from our universe, even if there's only one universe. Our universe's time just started when God inflated this universe we're in, as if it were a balloon in his hand. Do not make the mistake of thinking that God is restricted to this universe, because you would be assuming that God had to be in this universe to create it, which is an error. God is infinite, our universe is not. How can it be? It started somewhere and is inflating. How can a balloon be infinite? Or a rising loaf of raisin bread? It's Unimaginably big. It's vastness is beyond comprehension. That's for sure but everything that has a beginning has an end. Unless of course, it has always been here. But than the whole Big Bang theory goes out the window. There may be other dimensions or heavens, about nine or ten or so, (nine above and fourteen below) but an infinite number of universes would mean that somewhere there's a universe, with a version of you that would be like superman or superwoman and the rest would be the same. There even would be a universe where a version of you had bacon for breakfast in stead of cereals and all the rest of that universe would be the same as ours, including our past and future. But what would be the point? Not to mention the unavoidable infinite number of dead universes; failed attempts to produce life. Why this gigantic waste of energy? Nature doesn't waste anything so why would the universe itself be any different?

The very fact that we are here proves that there could have been no other outcome. The values set to be exact, sooner point to a design plan set in motion by a Creator; set in motion by God. According to the Anthropic Principle theory, the very fact that we are here, implies that

it was meant to be so.

Chaos; etymology; "gaping void," from L. chaos, from Gk. khaos "abyss, that which gapes wide open, is vast and empty," from khnuos, from PIE base *gheu-, *gh(e)i- "to gape" (cf. Gk khaino "I yawn,") O.E. ginian, O.N. ginnunga-gap. Meaning "utter confusion" is extended from theological use of chaos for "the void at the beginning of creation" in Vulgate version of Genesis. The Gk. for "disorder" was tarakhe, however the use of chaos here was rooted in Hesiod ("Theogony"), who describes khaos as the primeval emptiness of the Universe, begetter of Erebus ("Darkness") and Nyx ("Night"), and in Ovid ("Metamorphoses"), who opposes Khaos to Kosmos; "the ordered Universe." www.etymonline.com/

Chaos isn't what we think it is.

The word Chaos carries in it; -vast open emptiness- as well as -disorder- (the Soup of Particles of the Big Bang Theory) which seems like a contradiction in terms. The reason for this may be that the word was confused with the Hebrew word "Kaos", which means "angry", in combination with the Biblical "Tohu and Bohu"; formless and empty, the state that the primordial world was in.

And the earth (world) was formless and empty; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. Ge.1:2

In mathematics, chaos theory describes the behavior of certain dynamical systems – that is, systems whose states evolve with time – that may exhibit dynamics that are highly sensitive to initial conditions (popularly referred to as the butterfly effect).

As a result of this sensitivity, which manifests itself as an exponential growth of perturbations in the initial conditions, the behavior of chaotic systems appears to be random.

This happens even though these systems are deterministic, meaning that their future dynamics are fully defined by their initial conditions, with no random elements involved. This behavior is known as deterministic chaos, or simply chaos. ...Systems that exhibit mathematical chaos are deterministic and thus orderly in some sense; this technical use of the word chaos is at odds with common parlance, which suggests complete disorder. What it actually says here is that every effect has its cause and every effect works itself out in an orderly fashion that only seems to be chaotic in the eyes of the beholder, but has a clearly defined structure.  

Back in the sixties Edward Lorenz already knew that though the initial state of events may seem unrelated and random, eventually a pattern emerges and in the end all the peaces fit together. Some phenomena only appear random but have in fact an element of regularity that can be described mathematically.

Even in what we call Chaos; the primordial world, the present world already was detectable for whoever would have had an eye for it.

Some try to apply the second law of thermodynamics on the universe; entropy (disorder) always increases (or stays the same in a closed system). You go from low entropy to high entropy; our universe is either supposed to stay in the same orderly state or get more and more disordered. Sean Carroll, theoretical physicist on www.ted.com/  argues that things naturally become messier. You go from orderly, low entropy to disorderly, high entropy, the other one never happens. So there wasn't chaos at all in the beginning. Right in the beginning there was a lot of stuff concentrated in a very delicate arrangement in a very low entropy. Right now he says there is a high entropy and he does this while looking at the moons evolving round the planets evolving around the suns evolving around the central core of the Milky way evolving around the central core of the universe that are in very low entropy indeed. Not to mention the self containing system of life that evolved here on Earth. Even if there's order here on earth, he says, in the big picture it's all chaos and it's all going back to the low entropy that there was in the beginning; when our universe falls apart in a very smooth flare of atoms (a heat death). So first there was order, then there is the chaos we're in and after this everything will be order again. Man if that's not turning things upside down, I don't know what is. It completely disagrees with the second law of thermodynamics which states that things will get messier over time. The second law of thermodynamics could only apply to the universe if during and after the Big Bang it was in a state of highest order that gradually dissolves into a somewhat lesser order and eventually falls apart in complete disorder. That would make sense. The chaos would be the rubble that remains jn the end. Scientists often wonder; Why did the universe have such a low entropy when it started?   Such a high order.   Why indeed.    Take a wild guess.

Every effect has its cause; the "flapping wings of a butterfly in Brazil may eventually cause a tornado in Texas", goes the theory. A small change in the initial condition of the system may cause a chain of events leading to large-scale phenomena. Had the butterfly not flapped its wings, the trajectory of the system might have been vastly different.

Soup of Particles?

Imagine the effect of a Big Bang, in which, according to these theories, the entire universe was already predetermined, ... us included, and

Just because we cannot see it doesn't mean that it isn't light. Some animals observe warmth as light. It is all radiation.

Before any visible things had come into existence, I, the One moved around in the invisible things, like the sun from east to west and from west to east. But as the sun has rest in itself; yet I did not find rest, because everything was not yet created. I thought up the idea of establishing a foundation, to create a visible creation. 2^nd book of Enoch Chapter 24;4

"At the beginning of the circle of the earth, before the portals of the world were in place, and before the assembled winds blew, and before the rumblings of thunder sounded, and before the flashes of lightning shone, and before the foundations of paradise were laid, and before the beautiful flowers were seen, and before the powers of movement were established, and before the innumerable hosts of angels were gathered together, and before the heights of the air were lifted up, and before the measures of the firmaments were named, and before the footstool of Zion was established, and before the present years were reckoned; and before the imaginations of those who now sin were estranged, and before those who stored up treasures of faith were sealed --  then I planned these things, and they were made through me and not through another, just as the end shall come through me and not through another." 4 Ezra 6; 1 (2 Esdras 6; 1).

Every action starts from an intention in the implicate order. The imagination is already the creation of the form; it already has the intention and the germs of all the movements needed to carry it out. Bohm

At the Big Bang itself, the universe is thought to have zero size (!) and to have been infinitely hot. Matter and antimatter were in perfect balance. All particles (Quarks) had matching anti-particles. It was too hot for particles to bind into stable matter. Hot Big Bang Theory.

Brahman (Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit.) is the origin as well as the dissolution of the entire universe. Bhagavad-Gita 7.06

I am the First and the Last, the start and the end. Re 22:13  

This (universe) existed in the shape of Darkness, unperceived, destitute of distinctive marks, unattainable by reasoning, unknowable, wholly immersed, as it were, in deep sleep. Laws of Manu. Chapter 1;5

And God said, let there be light: and there was light.

Don't you understand that in the beginning there was the word and the word was with God? At that time everything that was to be formed later, was abiding in unmanifested form in the universal spirit-substance - or as some would say, in chaos. This word originally meant reality. This word, chaos, has been misinterpreted as a state of commotion or struggle, in stead of a deep spiritual state of reality, that continually awaits a  clear, creating, spoken word by which it may appear in manifest form. There is nothing higher than Brahman. Everything in the universe is strung on Brahman like jewels on the thread of a necklace. Bhagavad-Gita. 7.07 

Everything is made of this energy, this creational Light.

From that (first) cause, which is indiscernible, eternal, and both real and unreal, was produced that male, who is famed in this world; Brahm-an. (Spirit of the exalted father) Laws of Manu. 1;11 

Wherefrom were the heavens created? From the brilliancy of God’s covering which He took up and spread as a garment, and the heavens went on extending until He said unto them, ‘Be stayed,’ and they stopped. Whence was the earth created? From the snow beneath the throne of glory. God took it up and scattered it upon the waters, then the waters were congealed and became the dust of the earth, as it is said, ‘For He says unto the snow, Become earth.’ Chronicles of Jerahmeel 1; 5

Then the universe began to cool down. At 10^-40 seconds after the Big Bang, the temperature drops to 10²⁷K. Now, a soup of particles and anti-particles freezes out of the energized void, with each particles and anti-particle annihilating each other.

At 10^-10 seconds after the Big Bang the first anti-particle failed to annihilate with its matching particle and the potential for matter appears. Neutrons and Protons spring into being.

One second after the Big Bang, the temperature would have fallen to about 10⁹K; ten thousand million degrees Kelvin. This is about a thousand times the temperature at the centre of the sun, but temperatures as high as this are reached in H-bombs explosions. Protons and Neutrons no longer have sufficient energy to escape the attractions of the strong nuclear force and combine to produce the nuclei of atoms of Deuterium (heavy hydrogen). In the Light emanating from God, the heavens were created as the limited center of an ending universe. The outer heavenly waters froze into "snow" and turned into matter through the evolution of time; Time-space. Around the cosmos (matter), flows the Ocean; the abyss; nothingness. There is nothing there; just space into which the cosmos is expanding. Out there is no distance because there is nothing there to compare. No time; there's nothing happening there (yet).

God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land earth; and the gathering together of the waters he called Seas: and God saw that it was good. Gen.1;9 JPS

The divine one resided in that egg during a whole year, then he himself by his thought (alone) divided it into two halves; and out of those two halves (Inner and outer half; male and female) he formed heaven (above; inner area) and earth (matter, below, outer area), between them the middle sphere, the eight points of the horizon, and the eternal abode of the waters. And the Eon of Eons, ...is the living Aether; the land of Light. The primal Spirit breathes in all and feeds them with its Light.

About "ABOVE" and "BELOW"; On Earth, the Sky is above and the earth is below. As soon as you are in Space however, this concept falls away. So what is above and below in outer Space? The Creational Light source; God on his throne is always positioned above everything else, God is above and we are below. So the Light always comes from above. This Light is in the center of the schematic "Sphere", which means that the center of this Sphere is the Above and everything else is below it. "There is nothing higher than the light except nothing itself." 2Enoch25;5. Even according to the "Expanding Universe Theory", the Universe started out as an infinitely small point, (the undividable Atomos, Atom, Atum, Atma, Anu-Atma, or Ayna, or Ayin, the Well; the Source; God.). and expanded from there. So it has a center where it all started; the Heaven of heavens. If you put the earth somewhere in the middle of the pyramid on the left, the Light is above it and the basis is below it.

The Light takes on a round (spherical) shape that is surrounded by darkness; a ball of Light. A circle than indicates the outer border; the surface of this Light.

And I created seven circles inside it, and I gave them an appearance of crystal, wet and dry, that is to say; glass and ice and to be the circuit for water and the other elements. And I pointed out its route to each one of the seven stars, each one in his own heaven so that they might travel accordingly. And I saw that it was good. And I made a division between light and darkness, that is to say, in the middle of the waters this way and that way, and I said to the light, that it should be Day, and to the darkness, that it should be Night, and there was evening and there was morning; the first day. 2Enoch 27

And then the Spirit was hovering, and darkness and silence embraced everything; the sound of man's voice was not yet there. Then thou didst command that a ray of light be brought forth from thy treasuries, so that thy works might then appear. "Again, on the second day, thou didst create the spirit of the firmament, and didst command him to divide and separate the waters, that one part might move upward and the other part remain beneath. 4Ezra 6;38, 2Esdras 6; 38

Than, a million years after the Big Bang, giant clouds of gas formed in the first few moments, gradually contract and spin under the force of their own gravity, finally forming Galaxies. (500 mln years later at the earliest.) Hot Big Bang Theory

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters, and God made the firmament, and divided the waters, which were under the firmament from the waters, which were above the firmament: and it was so, and God called the firmament Heaven. The week in which God showed Enoch all his wisdom and power, throughout all the seven days, how he created all the heavenly and earthly forces and all moving things even down to man. And like this I made firm the heavenly circle; (I said;) Let the lower water, which is below heaven gather itself into one collection, and so it happened. From the waves I created rocks, solid and big, and from the rocks I assembled the dry land, the dry land I called earth. (matter; The stem of the Hebrew word for Earth; Aretz indicates; to be firm, so it can also mean; ground, soil or matter in general.) What was in between the earth, (between the rocks and planets) I called Chasm, (abyss) that is to say; the bottomless. Gathering the ocean into one place, I bound it with a yoke; I gave to the ocean an eternal boundary, which will not be broken through by the waters. (A) And so I structured and established it above the waters. I named this first created day for myself. (Sunday). 22Enoch.28^nd

Notice that all dry land here is called earth, which includes all planets as well as the Earth itself.  

This is matter, soil, rising from the creational waters, forming ALL planets, stars and galaxies.

Now, the earth was unformed and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep; and the spirit of God hovered (or; vibrated, merachefet also means “to vibrate”) over the face of the waters. Gen 1;2  JPS 

The boundaries of the heavens touch the waters of the ocean, for the waters of the ocean flow round the extremities of the heavens and the earth, and the extremities of the heavens are spread upon the waters of the ocean, as it is said, ‘Who layeth the foundation of His upper chambers in the waters.’ Chronicles of Jerahmeel 1; 6

Oceanos; the abyss, emptiness between the galaxies.

And God said: 'Let the earth put forth grass, herb yielding seed, and fruit-tree bearing fruit after its kind, wherein is the seed thereof, upon the earth.' And it was so.  And God said: 'Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years; and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.' And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day. And God said: 'Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let fowl fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day. And God said: 'Let the earth bring forth the living creature after its kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after its kind.' From himself (atmanah) he also drew forth the mind, which is both real and unreal. Likewise from the mind; the lordly ego, which possesses the function of self-knowledge. Moreover, the great one; the soul, affecting all by the three qualities, (gunas) and, in their order, the five organs that perceive the objects of sensation. Joining minute particles even of those six, which contain measureless power, with particles of himself, he created all beings. Laws of Manu. 1;14.

So, all matter has its origin in what we call the Big Bang. Matter, or; 'Earth, dust and flesh", to use some Biblical terms for it, is an arrangement of molecules. Molecules are made up of atoms that "look a bit like" miniature solar systems. A while back the common persuasion among scientists was that at least the core was solid matter; because there had to be matter to make up this material world. But it turns out to be a whole lot a nothing.  99.99999% of the atom is nothing; mostly “empty space (!!!). Atoms consist of a core, a nucleus of Protons and Neutrons that's wrapped in electrons with a space between them comparable to the distance between the sun and the earth, all in proportion of course and all the components keep "popping in and out of existence". Neutrons and Protons (called Nucleons) form the core, the Nucleus of the Atom, and consist of  red, green and blue “up” and “down” Quarks that have no size at all. So the atom which is said to contain 99.99999% empty space consists of particles made of quarks that don't have any size at all. After doing the math on that, I think it's safe to say that an atom is a full 100% empty space; Molecules, atoms, Particles, stabile or not are made of nothing but energy. And I'm not the only one who thinks that.

I tell you; THERE EXISTS NO MATTER IN ITSELF.  All Matter originates and exists only because of a force, that induces atom-particles to vibrate, and holds them together in the most tiny solar system of the Atom. Max Planck

Electrons belong to the lepton class particles that include the electron, muon, tau and their antiparticles, and the neutrino and antineutrino associated with each of these particles. These “particles” actually are (behave like) waves or fields of energy; these wavelike properties of electrons are utilized in the electron microscope and other devices.          

Neutrons and Protons (called Nucleons) form the core, the Nucleus of the Atom, and consist of red, green and blue “up” and “down” Quarks that have no size at all. Neutrons will last about seventeen minutes in free state before they fade out, Protons will last a lot longer, about a thousand years they say, (though no one has ever timed it), but they still consist of the same Quarks that are (behave like) fields or waves of energy. (Wave/Particle Duality) As long as you don't look at them, that is. That's the weird part of it. If you don't look at them they are waves, but if you do look at them; if you focus your attention on them, they suddenly materialize into the particles you expect them to be. If a researcher expects a Quark to have topspin, it does. If he expects it to act like a wave, it does just that. The researcher, by focussing his attention to them, is manifesting them into reality. They seem to act accordingly to the will or "believe" of the observer, which sounds like a lot like magic.

But than again, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they seem to have a mind of their own. Sometimes particles appear and disappear at will. Sometimes they exist at two places at the same time (Superposition). Is it any wonder that they come up with names like “up”, “down”, “truth”, “beauty”, “charm” and “strange” for these Quarks, that appear to be the very fabric of thoughts. 

There are a lot more “particles” to be named, and more and more were invented, such as the "Virtual Particles" that are used to explain static force fields, such as a simple electric or magnetic fields. The electromagnetic force, for instance, is mediated by the photon, the basic quantum of electromagnetic radiation. The strong force is mediated by the gluon, the weak force by the W and Z particles, and gravity is thought to be mediated by the graviton, which is a completely hypothetical particle all together. As if this weren't enough, it is thought that all particles, Photons, Electrons and Gravitons have counterparts named Sparticles (super symmetric particles).

Because they desperately hold on to the Newtonian idea that the world is a material place, they keep on thinking in Particles, describing to them properties like Superposition, Wave/Particle Duality, Entanglement, and Bose-Einstein Condensates (when different particles seem to be unified into one state, governed by one wave function). And trying to squeeze all this into the frame of a material universe, they keep inventing more and more particles and then some.

But in the end, it all comes down to this; There are no material particles.

It is all Energy; it is all "Light"; it is all Spirit.

It's all Thought.

Matter is an illusion. It is like the Buddha said; Everything is Maya.

Atoms are not things, atoms are only tendencies. Heisenberg (Quantum Physics)                 We are made of Atoms.                       So, what are We then?                          THINK!

"Science" of course is aware of this, but can and will not accept this as long as it hasn't been proven under repeatable laboratory circumstances. (Which is hard to do if two different observers are influencing particles in two different ways.) It in particular seems hard to digest for most scientists that this knowledge already existed for thousands of years. Most scientists rather like to think and present it in such a manner, that they have discovered something new.

And to think, that I used to be an atheist...
