Azaril or Izaril is typically known in Islam as one of the names of the angel of death, and is an other form of the Arabic name Izrail, the name traditionally attributed to the angel of death in Islam, although the name Malaikat Al-Maut (which is a direct translation of angel of death) is usually used in the Qur'an. It is also spelled Azrail, Ashriel, and Azriel. He is "forever writing in a large book and forever erasing what he writes: what he writes is the birth of man, what he erases is the name of the man at death.
This makes him a Watcher; who watches and keeps records of names and actions of people, but also errases all these notes.
Eventually everything will pass through this Fire, even Hell and death itself, and only the good things will remain.
And when
the thousand years are ended, Satan will be let loose out of his prison, And
will go out to put in error the nations which are in the four quarters of the
earth, Gog and Magog, to get them together to the war, the number of whom is
like the sands of the sea. And they went up over the face of the earth, and made
a circle about the tents of the saints, and the well loved town: and fire came
down out of heaven for their destruction. And the
Evil One
who put them in error
was sent
down into the sea of
ever-burning fire,
where the beast and the false prophet are, and their punishment will go on day
and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white seat, and him who was
seated on it, before whose face the earth and the heaven went in flight; and
there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, taking their
places before the high seat; and the
books
were open, and
another
book was open, which is the book of life;
and the dead were judged by the things which were in the
books,
even by their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death
and Hell gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged every man by
his works. And
death and
Hell were put into the sea of fire.
This is the
second death, even
the
sea of
fire.
And
if
anyone's name was not in the book of life, he went down into the sea of fire.
Re 20;10
While being removed from all other books as well; all records will be lost, his
name errased and his personality deleted.
Iz-Aril is Ariel, a name that is translated with; Altar (Ez 43;15 ASV), or fireplace, (Ez 43;15 BBE) but also with; the Lion of God, which is one of the four creatures surrounding God and the representation of the Archangel Uriel. As a fireplace it also refers to Uriel, the Light, or Flame of God, also called Purouel or Pyriel, which is in fact the same angel. As Light of God, Uriel sometimes is mistaken to be an angel of lightning of thunderstorms, (Nuriel, Baraqiel) but the Light or Flame of God literally is the "Fire of God" all souls are drawn to as moths to a candle. The closer you get to God, the hotter it gets, so to speak. Only the pure of heart may enter.
"Our God is a consuming fire." Heb 12:29 MKJV
Uriel is the manifestation or the angel of this Fire. He is the Lake of Fire all souls have to go through in the end to show their worth. Uriel is considered to be the flaming sword guarding the Garden of Eden , or Paradise.
yea, he casteth out the man, and causeth to dwell at the east of the garden of Eden the cherubs and the flame of the sword which is turning itself round to guard the way of the tree of life. Ge 3:24 YLT
And the fiery and merciless angel, who holds the fire in his hand, this is the archangel Purouel, who has authority over fire, and he tests the work of men through fire. Test. Abr. 13;11
Azaril/Ariel/Uriel/Ouriel/Purouel is not an angel of Death per Sé, as in "inevitable". He is not a bringer of death the way Samael or Satan are considered angels of death, in the sense that following them will lead there, but is to be seen more as the angel one meets at death; an angel of testing fire; like a Firewall which outcome can go both ways. It is possible for a human to survive this fire with the help of God.
Each man's work will become manifest; for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work which any man has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If any man's work (accomplishments) is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire. 1Cor 3:13 RSV
But those who are full of fear and without faith, the unclean and takers of life, those who do the sins of the flesh, and those who make use of evil powers or who give worship to images, and all those who are false, will have their part in the sea of ever-burning fire which is the second death. Re 21:8
Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. Re 20:14

Sometimes however Ariel is associated with Aralu, or Arulu the "World of spirits" the front portal to either hell or Paradise, not as a place of destruction, but as a Portal to Heaven. |
