ANTICHRIST
There are some verses in the Bible some people like to use to reprove or even condemn others who have a different opinion about something than they do. Verses about the Antichrist are very popular.
My loved ones, do not put your faith in every spirit, but put them to the test, to see if they are from God: because a great number of false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you may have knowledge of the Spirit of God: every spirit which says that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit which does not say this is not from God: this is the spirit of Antichrist, of which you have had word; and it is in the world even now. 1Jo 4;1
Little children, it is the last hour; and as you were given word that the Antichrist would come, so now a number of Antichrists have come to you; and by this we are certain that it is the last hour. They went out from us but they were not of us; if they had been of us they would still be with us: but they went out from us so that it might be made clear that they were not of us. And you have the Spirit from the Holy One and you all have knowledge. I have not sent you this letter because you have no knowledge of what is true, but because you have knowledge, and because that which is false has nothing in common with that which is true. Who is false but he who says that Jesus is not the Christ? He is the Antichrist who has no belief in the Father or the Son. He who has no belief in the Son has not the Father: he who makes clear his belief in the Son has the Father. 1Jo 2;18
Because a number of false teachers have gone out into the world, who do not give witness that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. Such a one is a false teacher and Antichrist. 2Jo 1;7
So, what does it say here?
The Antichrist is not a mysterious dark endtime son of Satan.
Anyone who teaches that Jesus has NOT "come in the flesh"; that he has NOT really existed, that he was NOT a real person like us, or, ...that he is NOT the Christ; literally; the "anointed one", ... is Antichrist; literally is "against Christ".
Such a one has no belief in the Father or the Son and is a false teacher and Antichrist.
Jesus really existed. He was called Christ because he was anointed by God, not with oil or something, but with Spirit, which is the Spirit of God. Because of that he is called the Son of God, the way we all someday, hopefully, may be called sons of God depending on our spirit, which is Spirit of God.
Jesus is the first of a Band of BROTHERS. He is our appointed Lord and King. He is like us and we should be like him.
That's it!
It's not about having a different view on him;
it's about denying his very existence,
or denying he is the Christ, which makes one an AntiChrist.
